Thank you for choosing Precision Safes for your security needs. We understand that sometimes, things may not go as planned, and we are here to help. Please read our Returns and Refunds Policy carefully to understand our practices.

1. Returns Policy

  • Return Authorization: No returns can be accepted for exchange or credit unless previously agreed upon. Please contact us via email, and we will provide you with a return authorization number along with instructions for the return. All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt from Precision Safes and the return authorization number.
  • Change of Mind: Returns for refund due to change of mind are not accepted. Customers are responsible for reviewing product weights, dimensions, and specifications before placing an order. We encourage careful review of orders before proceeding to checkout. Safes: Please note that we do not accept safes back for return.
  • Restocking Charge: A minimum restocking charge of 15% will apply to goods that are “not wanted” or “incorrectly ordered.” This is applicable only for smaller items delivered via Australia Post. For safes, we do not accept returns.
  • Time Frame: You must inform us within seven days of receipt of goods to be eligible for a return under this category. All items to be returned must be in their original, unopened packaging, undamaged, and unused.
  • Faulty Items: No returns will be accepted after 7 days from delivery, unless the item is faulty. All items returned as faulty are subject to the manufacturer’s inspection. We cannot guarantee replacement or credit; a warranty repair may be provided.
  • Special Orders: Items that have been specially ordered cannot be returned. If defective, you may only exchange these items for the same product.
  • Return Freight Charges: Customers are responsible for all return freight charges. However, reasonable and customary freight charges will be credited if the product is damaged during freight, or if the wrong item was shipped.

2. Refunds

  • Processing: We will notify you via email once we have received and processed the returned item. Please note that we will refund reasonable shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
  • Time Frame: Please allow 14 to 21 days for processing of your return. Refunds will be credited to the original credit card account number only.
  • Damage During Return: Ensure that items are secure in their packaging to prevent damage during transit. If your return arrives with internal damage, you will be notified, and you may choose to file a claim with your shipping agent.
