Description
Fileguard Security Containers are manufactured to ASIO specifications and approved by the Australian Government Security Construction Equipment Committee (SCEC) for the storage of classified documents. Available to Australian Government departments and companies issued with a letter of authority from the government to purchase a SCEC approved container. A modified version is available to non-government clients.
Key Features:
• The drawer includes built in provision for standard foolscap size suspension files.
• The drawer includes a high back and sides to minimize jamming of files.
• The container is supplied with a sway plate for the drawer and includes 5 key hooks on the sway plate.
• The drawer has full extension ball tracks capable of handling up to 100 kgs evenly distributed.
• All Fileguard Class B Security Containers are fitted with a SCEC Approved Electronic Combination Lock.
• Finish: The standard finish is Koala Grey Ripple Powder Coat.

• The containers are not designed to be fire resistant
• The containers are not designed to protect against prolonged overt attack
Please note: Before we can process an order for a SCEC-Approved Security Container, we’ll need either a Letter of Authority from the purchaser or an email from an official Australian Government address confirming the purchase is authorised. These containers are restricted to use by Australian Government departments, or by private organisations operating under a contract with a government department. This restriction reflects their intended purpose: storing sensitive or security-classified information in line with the requirements set out in Section 8 of the Protective Security Policy Framework.
