    Description

Fileguard Security Containers are approved by the Australian Government Security Construction Equipment Committee for the protection of classified material. These containers are designed to delay access by covert means and to provide visible evidence of any physical overt attack.
They are not designed to protect the contents against prolonged overt attack. Fileguard SCEC Approved Security Container’s, unless so specified, do not provide fire resistance.

    Key Features:

    • All drawers include built in provision for standard foolscap size suspension files.
    • The containers are fitted with an anti-tilt mechanism to prevent more than one drawer being opened at a time.
    • All drawers include a high back and sides to minimize jamming of files.
    • The containers are supplied with a sway plate for each drawer and the top-drawer sway plate has 5 key hooks.
    • All drawers have full extension ball tracks capable of handling up to 100 kgs evenly distributed per drawer.
    • All Fileguard Class C Security Containers are fitted with a SCEC Approved Bi-Lock and supplied with 2 keys.
    • Finish: The standard finish is Koala Grey Ripple Powder Coat.

Please note: Before we can process an order for a SCEC-Approved Security Container, we’ll need either a Letter of Authority from the purchaser or an email from an official Australian Government address confirming the purchase is authorised. These containers are restricted to use by Australian Government departments, or by private organisations operating under a contract with a government department. This restriction reflects their intended purpose: storing sensitive or security-classified information in line with the requirements set out in Section 8 of the Protective Security Policy Framework.
